The Academy Partners with San Elijo Hills Foundation

The Academy at San Elijo would like to announce that they have formed a partnership with The San Elijo Hills Foundation. The San Elijo Hills Foundation is a California public non-profit organization created to support and enhance the quality of education and community life within San Elijo Hills.  It was established in 2004 and intended for the benefit of residents in the community.
Board Member, Philip Heap, said about the Foundation’s role with The Academy, ” The San Elijo Hills Foundation is very excited about our new partnership with The Academy at San Elijo.  Both organizations share in a similar interest, which is to promote and improve community life in San Elijo Hills.  We believe that offering additional sports programming right here in our community, especially programs which are focused at developing the youth athlete, is a wonderful opportunity for residents to build relationships with their neighbors and share in common goals.”
The Academy at San Elijo’s Founder Chris Fitzsimmons will also sit on the board of The San Elijo Hills Foundation in an effort to work with the existing board to share ideas and help ensure that both organizations work together in their efforts to provide high quality programs for our community. The Academy at San Elijo Co-Founder David Horacek, said about the Academy’s role with The Foundation, “The Academy is also very excited to work with The Foundation. They also share the same bigger vision we have, which is not just to provide programs, but to be able to give back to our community, our schools, The City of San Marcos, and most importantly our kids.”
